Mrs. Murray

Program Supervisor & Educator

Mrs. Murray is a Registered Early Childhood educator, graduate from Mohawk College & has been in the field for 20 years. She has had the wonderful opportunity to work in a variety of school settings including traditional & co-operative preschools, Montessori preschool-SK classrooms & brings invaluable experience to the program.

Her energy is contagious! She loves creating a positive, nurturing, exciting & educational program for all children to learn. She especially enjoys the unique environment of a co-operative, where educators work alongside families to foster a sense of community & provide a special place for children to grow & thrive.

” It is a joy & extremely rewarding to help & watch children enhance & develop skills, gain independence, succeed & acquire a love of learning in their first school experience. Each day is an adventure working with children & it is such a pleasure to build relationships with both children & their families.”

Mrs. Murray is excited to start her teaching journey at ABC & we are overjoyed to have her in the classroom & leading our programming as our little school grows!

Ms. Jeffers

Educator

Ms. Jeffers has always known she wanted to work with children! After graduating from McMaster University in 2018, she started her early childhood education vocation as a before & after school educator partnering with the HWDSB. She has been very active within the Hamilton community volunteering at children based events & classroom settings.

She is a star & recent graduate of Mohawk College’s ECE program (2022). During her schooling she worked as a Behaviour & Inclusion Specialist. In this role, she created & implemented specialized programs for individuals with disabilities alongside coaching & mentoring staff through behaviour management principles.

“I believe children develop a positive attitude towards their learning when they are involved in experiences that are meaningful & catered to them. Teaching is an absolute passion of mine & it fills my heart with joy to watch children learn & grow. I strive to support children’s natural curiosity & desire to engage in experiences based on their unique interests, strengths & developing skills.”
