FUNdraising

As a not-for-profit organization, over the years ABC has heavily relied on our fundraising initiatives to keep our fantastic school open for the children, year over year. The efforts of our current families contribute greatly to the future families that will attend ABC.

With the recent introduction of CWELCC, ABC is able to continue providing its amazing programming at a further reduced cost. However, fundraising efforts provides us with the ability to incorporate unique experiences such as school trips to local farms and gymnastic centres; as well as allows us to experience special programming with our community partners including soccer clinics with FDSC, and music classes with Suzie Sunshine. Alongside this, fundraising contributes greatly to the purchases of high quality classroom materials and toys for our children to enjoy throughout the school year.

For these reasons, as a member of ABC Nursery School participation in our fundraising initiatives are mandatory. We understand that people’s availability varies and just as in the classroom – everyone comes to the table with different strengths and interests. Whether you make a financial contribution/donation, reach out to local businesses for support during our silent auction, or join one of our exciting planning committees – there are various ways to contribute and we encourage you to get involved whichever way works best for you! No contribution is too big, or too small.

For your own planning, fundraising efforts will be shared with families at our quarterly general meetings (AGM), as well as communicated in the monthly school newsletter, sent out to families at the start of each month.

Community Skate Giveback & Fundraiser

ABC Nursery annually hosts a community skate open to the wider public paired with a food drive for the local Flamborough Food Bank and fundraiser for our little school.  For more details on our auction & free family skate, please check out our Community Skate Page.
